Tittle: Dangote
Artist: Burna boy
Directed: in Lagos, by Clearence Peters

First of we would notice here that Burna boy's kind of songs are really reflecting here, for instance, his song "YE and SOKE" are perfect examples, the lights weren't sharp but soft (known as soft light)
We would see later on (from these five shots) that the camera was in motion, not fast but at a steady movement showing people in different situations of life. The lights used to illuminate all the characters and the background there are not sharp but dim lights (even to the extent that we were not seeing some characters faces) which works in sync with the circumstances surrounding the video.

Then it's next to the effects of natural light of which we would clearly see here that the colours, the background, the tone of the atmosphere are all depicted.

Now, we can notice here that the camera aperture especially, was adjusted. The boy with the bag is now the focal point of the scene, taking us through series of events around him.

We would also notice the face doubled here, just as an additional effect.

Then back to the house where the scenario switches to the artist of the song in a "black and white" television.

In addition to the effects highlited, it's not just only a video but a video that tells a story about what is presently happening in Nigeria. You guys should check it out and share your thoughts here

  4. It's a great video that highlights the ills in our society,I love how burna breaks it down in this musical video. The government has a lot to do in terms of job creation but of course we the youth also need to play our role as well
